You know those brilliant moments, where your sitting there and all of a sudden an awesome thought comes into your head of something you could make and you feel like even though someone else might have already done it before you, it still feels uniquely yours? Yeah, I had one of those moments the other night.
I was actually making another craft, that I will be sharing with you later, and I looked up at my little tree ( I have my own little fake tree for my bedroom ) and thought, ‘What kind of ornaments could I make that would be easy but yet interesting and fun?’ I sat there for a few minutes, when my eyes fell on a ball of twine I was working with and bingo! an idea sprang into my head.
Why not make little bows of twine tied to the end of the tree branches? I have to say, I felt really brilliant. Not only had I never seen this before ( so it felt really special ), but it was so ridiculously easy. So, out came the scissors and camera and I started working.
What you will need –
Simply wrap your twine around the branch, tie it in a bow, and them cut off the excess. Super simple, right? I couldn’t have been happier with mine. Let me know if you try it and if you have any variations.
