Hello Lovelies!

Fall is finally here! Yay! Literally my favorite time of year. Spicy cider, camp fires, big scarves….the list goes on and on. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll be able to keep up with my attempts at feeling fallish and also to see what goes on in my daily life.

So, we’ve all got them; little grey dresses that are so plain by themselves and really need pretty some accessories to brighten them up. Well, I’ve put together 2 outfits to style a grey dress for fall and I’m going to elaborate on them below.

1 | Scarves.

My FAVORITE fall accessory of all time. This is literally the easiest way thing to all to any outfit. And they’re so warm and cozy. Perfect for wanting to stay warm without wearing a ton of layers.

2 | Tie a top around your waist.

This not only breaks up the all-one-color of grey, but also will define your waist.

3 | Add a hat.

I’ve just started wearing hats and I really like them. Depending on the the look you’re going for will determine what hat you wear. Floppy hats tend to be more ‘going out’ looking, while baseball caps indicate your being a bit more casual.

4 | Switch up your shoes.

Break out of the mold and try a cool, unique looking shoe with your dress. It’s always so much fun to branch out and try something new.

I hope these tips were helpful to you. Leave me some comments below on how you would style a grey dress for fall.

  • This dress is so cute! The elbow patches are great and I enjoyed seeing both ways you styled it. Have a wonderful weekend, Ashleigh!

  • Such a great outfit – I love how you styled it both ways – the one with the scarf would be perfect for Thanksgiving 🙂
