3 WAYS TO STYLE SUMMER DRESSES FOR FALL

Hello Lovelies!

It finally called off down here! Yay!!! I’m doing a little happy dance in my head right now. This is the perfect excuse for me to drink ( more ) tea, and snuggle up under blankets.

At least for a few days. Until it gets hot again.

Anyway.

I was going through my closet and realized the 95% of my dresses were for the summer. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love wearing dresses in the summer. They’re so easy, fast, and cool. But, summer dresses are only good for just that. And I don’t really want to go buy a bunch of fall dresses.

So, getting a little creative, I’m going to show you three ways that I style my summer dresses for fall.

1. With a sweater over the top. This look is so simple. And the best part is, you can wear just about any pair of shoes with this look. Dressed up or down, this is a super simple look for throwing together at the begging of the day.

2. With a vest. This look is great for those warm days with cooler breezes. You still get to take advantage of the short sleeve, but your core is nice and toasty.

3. With a jacket and scarf. This look is one of my favorites. I can’t tell you how many time I’ve done this when I’m pressed for time and need an outfit in a hurry. If the day warms up, you can take off the jacket and keep the scarf, but at the same time, you’re perfectly dressed for comfort if it stays cool.

I hope these tips were helpful. Check out my fall Pinterest board here for more inspiration.
