4 MUST-HAVE TOPS FOR YOUR FALL WARDROBE

Hello Lovelies!

I’m sure a few of you are a little curious as to why I’m talking about fall clothes today when we’re in the dead of hot summer. And ordinarily it would seem a little bit crazy. But, I honestly believe you can never plan ahead too earl for anything in your life, be it trips, investing, or something as simple as clothes shopping.

I’m a huge used clothing fan. Not that I don’t buy new clothes, but there’s something so satisfying to buy something used that still looks new and you know you’re probably the only one in the world who has one like it. I also am a huge fan of sales. Like 75%-90% off. And you know a great place to buy used clothing that’s discounted, but still in great shape?

thredUp! I love this website. Every purchase I’ve ever made with them has been so satisfying. The item was in great to excellent condition and was true to size. One thing I love about their website is, you can customize it to your own specifications. For instance, you can choose your size, color, style, item, and even your price range.

And if you use code WOW40 at checkout, you’ll receive 40% off your entire order! So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and check them out!

Now, on to the tops you must have in your fall wardrobe.

1 | Button Down

Button down tops are such a versatile staple. You can either dress them up or down and you can layer with them so nicely. The key to a great button down, is to find one that fits you really well. Be sure to check the shoulders when trying it on.

2 | Long-Sleeved Top

Every closet needs some specialty tops. Pick a color your love and that can be layered with jewelry and jackets.

3 | Neutral Sweater

I bought a neutral sweater last fall and literally wore it out. I’m sure my friends thought I didn’t own any other clothes. Neutral pieces are very versatile and easily layered.

4 | Sturdy Jacket/Coat

Depending on where you live will determine which of these you will buy. If your fall is shorter and your winters cold, then a coat is your best option, where as if your falls are long and and mild, you’ll do better to invest in a light jacket.

I hope these tips were helpful. Be sure to check out ThredUp’s excellent selection of gently used and let know which items are your favorite. Don’t forget you code WOW40.

  • I love getting a good deal! In my opinion, anyone can look stylish if they pay enough, but it takes skill to look great on pennies. Sorry, I am a little slow to visit all you linkers from the July My Refined Style Linkup. Thanks for bringing your fabulous flair to our party.
