Hello Lovelies!

Ok, so I know for most of you, summer feels like it’s over with school starting and everything moving towards the fall weather type wear. ( I mean if any of you were following the Nordstrom sale, you were probably stocking up on fall and winter essentials. )

However, for me, summer is still in full swing and it can be for you too! And with all the sales going on right now, I think it’s the perfect time to stock up on summer essentials. I’m sharing four below that I think no closet should be without.

1. Shorts

Seriously, who doesn’t have a favorite pair of shorts that they break out every summer? Two of my favorite styles are JCrew’s Highwaisted denim shorts and Gap’s Boyfriend Fit denim shorts. Both are very comfortable and casual and pair well with just about any top.

2. Cotton T-shirt

Having a good, casual t-shirt on hand is a literal must for any summer wardrobe. They are the perfect thing to throw on with an outfit and just go. The one I’m wearing actuall y came from the men’s section of Gap. The fit is perfectly boxy and the v-neck is nice and shallow, so no need for a camisole underneath.

3. Sneakers

When my Converse sneakers finally kicked the bucket earlier this year, I was so devastated. They had been the best, most comfortable thing to slip on my feet for the past five years. However, I was able to find the above pair at Old Navy and they are perfectly comfortable.

4. Tote bag

I use a purse that is huge, just because I want room for everything to be able to fit in there. Haha! But, having a great tote bag for throwing things in is so nice too. I like the ones with pockets on the side so you can keep track of the small stuff without sacrificing the space for the big stuff.

I hope these tips were helpful to you. What about you? What are your summer essentials.
