I know this isn’t really a Christmas-y post, but I think it’s a concept thats applicable, even during the holidays.
So, back over Black Friday weekend ( yes, I actually ventured out of my house and braved the shopping ), I picked up some new tops for work from JCrew Factory outlet and one of them is the pretty, sparkly, striped top I’m wearing above. It’s their Artist Tee. I honestly couldn’t walk by it. Along with the fact thats it’s gold and striped, it was the only one left and seriously, it was like something took a hold of me and I wasn’t in control of myself anymore. I had to buy it! And at only $12.95, it was a steal.
So, after finding it in several color, I purchased it and brought it home. I will say that I might have bought it in a larger size, if they had had one. I’m wearing an x-small and after washing, it shrank a very small amount, practically unnoticeable.
The first thought that popped into my head seeing these tops is how easy they would be to wear to work. Just pull one on with my blazer and pants and good to go! Then I began to think of the multiple ways this top can be styled. I kind of wished that I had gotten them in every color. One thing I noticed right off the bat was that they don’t fade or pill at all. I mean, not even a slight texture change with the material. Still felt new, even after pulling out of the dryer.
So, on to how to style this fabulous top three ways.
Throw it one with jeans and some sneakers or booties and you are good to go.
Pair it with a pretty skirt or even a fan pair of shorts with wedges or heels and you are ready for stepping out.
Layer this user a dress or with a pencil skirt for a simple office chic look.
I hope these tips were helpful and that you have lots of fun styling your comfortable tops.
