With spring break here ( some of you are enjoying that right now ), I’ve been feeling kind of itchy for a vacation. Sad news though; I’m pretty much broke. So, no vacation for me.
However, that doesn’t stop me from planning a great stay-cation, where I relax and make time to do the things I would normally feel obligated to not do when at home. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in everyday chores and tasks and not take time to just relax.
So, in planning my stay-cation, I’ve put together a few tips below on how to rock your stay-at-home relax session. And helping me with this is Sakroots. Last fall, you might remember I wrote about their awesome backpack line for back to school.
Well, this time they’ve got an awesome line of beach bags and slip-on shoes as the perfect accessories. I love the fact that every bag design gives money from each purchase to certain charities around the world. To learn more click this link.
Their bags are super well made and very durable. And the shoes are so comfortable. I told my sister they felt like bed room slippers.
So, here are my tips for planning the bomb-diggityist spring break stay-cation ever!
1 | WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES – If you’re going to be lounging around the house, no one is going to see you, so comfy clothes are a must. Be brave and wear no makeup as well.
2 | HAVE AWESOME SNACKS ON HAND – You’re on vacation, splurge a little. Eat something you would otherwise not. And enjoy it.
3 | STOCK UP ON GREAT BOOKS – Need I really elaborate on this? Reading will help you to relax and stretch your brain at the same time. Win, win!
4 | DIG OUT YOUR FAVORITE CLASSIC FILMS – Or rent them, or buy them. And them binge watch them, Best thing ever!
5 | HAVE YOUR FAVORITE BLANKET ON HAND – I always relax and enjoy things more under my favorite blanket.
6 | KEEP EVERYTHING TOGETHER IN ONE PLACE – So it’s easier to grab and use without having to hunt over the entire house for something.
So, there you have it, the perfect spring break stay-cation packing list. What do you have planned for spring break?
