Hello Lovelies!

I’ve recently been looking through my closet, weeding out the items I don’t wear and debating on the ones that aren’t my favorites. And it got me thinking about how many of my items I really wore to death last summer and how much worse it would have been if those items had not been good quality. We me, it’s all about quality over quantity.

So, I decided to put together a post with five of my top favorite closet staples you definitely need to add to your wardrobe.

1 | Chambray Button-Down – This item I think got the most wear next to my sundresses. It’s perfect in that it goes with everything, is great for layering, and can be dressed up or down.

2 | Cargo Jacket – My cargo jackets receive so much love year round. They are super comfortable and complete an outfit so well. Best of all, they’re a classic, so they won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

3 | Red Lipstick – I cannot tell you the confidence boost I get when I put on red lipstick. It’s like my inner Taylor Swift is channeled and I feel empowered to do whatever I want.

4 | Sundresses – These also received a lot of love last year. Nothing is easier to throw on in hot weather then a comfy sundress with some sandals or sneaks.

5 | Strappy Wedges – My go-to staple summer shoe. So comfortable and perfect for dressing up or down. Also, side not, wedges are another classic shoe, so be sure to invest in some as they will last you for years.

These staples are definitely something I couldn’t live without. Also, keeping my photos all in one place is really nice too. It’s not that easy when you have to scroll through your computer, searching for pictures you can’t remember the date they were taken. However, Social Print Studios has an excellent selection of books for storing all your favorites in one place. Check out their website here.

What about you? What are your spring/summer staples?
