Hello Lovelies!

 

At the beginning of summer, I got really motivated to start a regular workout routine. Not for losing weight, but more to gain muscle mass and build strength. Plus, I feel so much healthier after I’ve done a really strenuous workout.

One of the first things I looked into was fitness apps. I love working out, but unfortunately, I tend to not be regular. Without having someone to spur me on, I tend to slack of. So, when I found some fitness apps that help you keep track of your work outs and keep you on your toes, I was thrilled. See them below. I’ll list them along with the price and how I liked them.

 

1 | YAYE

Price: Free

Yaye is a group fitness app. Think of it as a support group for working out. You form a group and then set a goal for yourself. the rest of the group does the same. Any time you make a step towards that goal, you send a picture to the group of your progress. It also provides analytics, challenges, suggestions to keep everyone motivated. It’s a fun group app that keeps you active.

 

2 | SWEAT

Price: Free ( but thats only for the app download. You have to purchase a package for fitness after your 7 day free trial. )

This app is great if you want a personal trainer, but don’t have time to go to the gym. Personal trainer Kayla Itsines gives you everything from meal plans to exercise routines requiring little to no equipment. After your 7 day free trail, it’s $19.95 a month. I gave this three stars because for me personally, that’s a little bit expensive. However, the app is very detailed and gets rave reviews.

 

3 | IDRATED

Price: $.99

I love this app! Not exactly one of the fitness apps, but it does go hand in hand with working out. Basically, this app keeps track of how much water you’re taking in. You input all you personal info and then the app tells you exactly how much water you should be consuming each day. Then, as your day goes on, you input how much water you’ve drank. At the end of the week, you can look back and see how disciplined you were.

 

4 | SMART SCALE BY BEETS BLU

Price: Free

Blog with staying motivated and staying hydrated, it’s nice to be able to keep a detailed account of your weight loss, muscle gain, etc. And there’s no better app than the Smart Scale app for the Smart Scale by Beets Blu. The Smart Scale is an electronic scale that measures your weight and transfers all your info to the app. And, along with that, it stores every time you weigh yourself, so you can keep track of your progress. It not only measures your weight, but it also measures fat content, muscle mass, and BMI. I was so excited to try it out. ( Haha, now you all know my weight. )
