This is definitely a new one for me. I have not to date styled the off the shoulder trend, but I thought it was time I at least tried it. And I really love how feminine it makes you feel.
I’m also loving midi dresses this season. Something about longer hem lines that just really appeals to me. I’m shying more and more away from short dresses and skirts, and stocking up on midis and maxis.
And speaking of, this midi dress I bought from Old Navy is the perfect style for versatile wear. So, I put together two looks, one for going out on the town and the other for hanging out with friends.
So, for look one I wore my heeled sandals and delicate jewelry that is eye-catching. I wore my hair down, to give the outfit a more formal feel.
Some items you could pair with this look to dress it up would be
- an elegant clutch
- a delicate choker
- wedge heels
- bolder eye makeup
- and you could also wear your hair up
For this look, I wore my hair in a ponytail and added flat shoes. I also added chunkier earrings and stacked bracelets on my wrist. You could also add:
- a baseball cap
- a backpack
- a shoulder bag
- wide brimmed sun hat
- scarf tied in your hair or around your neck.
However you choose to style your midi dress know that there is no wrong way to wear it. Putting your outfit together should be fun, so definitely expirement and let me know how you styled your dress!
