Happy Hump Day! I can’t believe it’s already the middle of the week. I have so many plans for this long weekend, you just have no idea. But for tonight, I’m just going to show you guys two ways to style a t-shirt.
For some reason, I have really fallen in love with graphic tees recently. I wish I could wear them all the time but where I work would be a little too awkward. So, I will settle for styling them outside of work for other occasions, like a day out for a picnic or a night out on the town.
I styled my two tops two ways; dressed up and dressed down. As long as you are confident in your choice of styling, you can honestly wear graphic tees in a variety of different ways.
When you style a t-shirt, think about how the outfit will look as a whole. Once you have this envisioned, there are limitless combinations out there.
The way I like to put an outfit together is by laying it out on my bed, just to see how the colors all blend together. If the colors work, I then will add an accessory to the outfit, like a pair of shoes or a pretty necklace and from that I build the rest of the outfit and then try it all on to see how it works together. I’ll take pieces off or add more on, depending on how I want the outfit to look.
So basically, start with your focal point item ( in this case, a t-shirt ) and then start building pieces onto it.
Ok, now I want to know how you style a t-shirt. Leave it in the comments below and also, where do you like to buy your graphic tees? Both of mine are from Old Navy and are on sale!
